| Baby Alera has a little skin problem. He must have got it from the other 2 kitties. The vet has provide some medicated shampoo and medicine. Hope they will get better soon. | It's been a while since I last updated on Baby Alera. I have taken many short clips of my fur kids very frequently and my hard drive space is running out! I will considering getting one external hard drive for backups, you know, I don't want to loose all the precious photos of my fur kids and their videos too. Anyway the video below was taken somewhere in mid october 2007 and I just found a piece music which I think might work on the video. I love teasing Alera whenever he is taking a nap, evil me! He never got angry with me, not even once. Usually all my fur kids will be sleeping or taking naps before their dinner, between 2pm till 4.30pm. Ok, just a short update anyway and I hope you will like the video :) | 14 novembre 2007 E' passato un po' di tempo dall'ultima volta che ho aggiornato la storia di Baby Alera. Ho preso molti brevi clip dei miei bambini pelosi molto frequentemente e il mio spazio su disco si sta esaurendo! Vorrei considerare di prendere uno disco rigido esterno per il backup, si sa mai, io non voglio perdere tutte le preziose foto dei miei bambini pelosi e nemmeno i video. In ogni caso il video qui sotto è stata ripreso da qualche parte a metà ottobre 2007 e ho appena trovato un pezzo di musica che mi pare possa adattarsi al video. |

| Woke up this morning and I was shocked! The whole bed was full of blood and at first I thought it was the urine. But when I looked closer, the whole chunk of muscles and tissues on Alera's hind leg were gone! Without delay, I went to the vet right away. I just do not understand, he has everything, I mean he has his time to come out and play and all the attentions he needs, just wonder why he always like to bite himself. The doc has examined the wound and found out it is very difficult to stitch up as the wound was severely damage and there were holes on the skin as well. He told me that he was going to perform a 'secondary treatment' for Alera from now which is cleaning and dressing up everyday until new skin and tissues develop properly so that he can stitch up later in time. We are looking at about 3 to 4 weeks time. Alera has also lost lots of blood and he has a larger cone now around his neck. | 27 novembre 2007 Mi sono svegliato questa mattina e sono rimasto scioccato! Il letto era tutto pieno di sangue e dapprima ho pensato che fosse l'urina. Ma quando ho guardato più da vicino, l'intero pezzo di muscoli e tessuti sulla zampa posteriore di Alera erano andati! Senza indugio, mi sono recato dal veterinario subito. Solo non capisco, ha tutto, voglio dire che ha il suo tempo di uscire e giocare e tutte le attenzioni di cui ha bisogno, solo mi meraviglio del perché, gli piaccia sempre mordere se stesso. Il dottore ha esaminato la ferita e scoperto che è molto difficile da cucire in quanto la ferita è stata gravemente danneggiata e c’erano pure dei buchi sulla pelle. Egli mi ha detto che stava per eseguire un 'trattamento secondario' per Alera a partire da ora e cioè pulizia e medicazione tutti i giorni finchè nuova pelle e tessuti non si sviluppino adeguatamente in modo che egli li possa cucire successivamente nel tempo. Stiamo guardando a questo per un periodo da circa 3 a 4 settimane di tempo. Alera ha anche perso un sacco di sangue e ha un collare elisabettiano ora intorno al suo collo. |

| It has been quite a while since I last updated on Alera due to overloaded daily routine and preparation of my upcoming BIG DAY, the wedding. If you have been followed my ustream tv live feed, u already witnessed Alera bit himself again, yes again on the first day of 2008 and this time the wound has turned out to be a large one. Just watch the videos (my ustream tv url below) to find out more. Luckily he did not attack the leg area which is a good thing. I have asked the vet whether neutering will solve this problem, he said no. For the time being, I will be cleaning up the wound daily and the vet will give the injection ( antibiotic ) on daily basis so that this will speed up the healing time since I already know how to clean the wound. Once the scab formed up, the vet will help me to remove them. Se avete seguito in diretta tv il mio “ustream tv live feed”, avete già assistito al fatto che Alera ha morsicato di nuovo se stesso, sì, di nuovo dopo quel primo giorno del 2008 e questa volta la ferita si è rivelata essere una grande. Basta guardare il video (il mio “ustream tv url” sotto) per saperne di più. Fortunatamente non ha attaccato la zona della gamba, che è una buona cosa. Ho chiesto al veterinario se la sterilizzazione risolverebbe questo problema, ha detto di no. Per il momento, farò pulizia quotidiana della ferita e il veterinario farà l'iniezione (antibiotico), su base giornaliera in modo che questo potrà accelerare il tempo di guarigione, dato che già so come pulire la ferita. And today is Alera's turn to go out to the field. He wasn't comfortable with all the noise and nature and he was scratching me when I tried to leave him on ground! Oh well, not really scratching, more like 'grabbing' my arms like he was yelling 'Daddy! DON'T LEAVE MEEEEEEeeeeeee!'. LOL He made a lot of noise and constantly scootered back to the carrier. It was so funny and I have to lift him up and placed him far away from the carrier in order for him to walk towards us. We didn't spend a lot of time there as we did not want him to feel stress and he was panting quite heavily. Next week will be Papi's turn! E’ così caldo qui in Malesia da alcune settimane e oggi è Domenica! Domenica significa fuori all’aperto per i bambini! E oggi è il turno di Alera di andare al campo. Lui non si sentiva a suo agio con tutti i rumori e la natura e mi stava graffiando quando ho provato a lasciarlo a terra! Oh beh, non veri e propri graffi, più simile a un 'catturare' le mie braccia, come se stesse urlando 'Papy! NON LASCIARMIIIIIIiiiiiii! '. LOL Ha fatto un sacco di baccano e costantemente rinculava indietro verso il trasportino. È stato così divertente e dovevo sollevarlo e collocarlo lontano dal trasportino, in modo da costringerlo a camminare verso di noi. Noi non abbiamo trascorso un sacco di tempo lì, perché non volevamo farlo sentire in una condizione di stress e stava ansimando piuttosto pesantemente. La prossima settimana sarà il turno di Papi!
